'17 points in the fourth quarter alone' KT pulls off thrilling upset over SK in pro basketball

Professional basketball team Suwon KT defeated Seoul SK to extend its winning streak to two games.

KT pulled off a thrilling come-from-behind 78-76 victory over Seoul SK in the regular season finale of the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball League on Wednesday at Jamsil Student Gymnasium in Seoul.

With its second straight win, KT improved to 24-13 and moved into a tie for second place with Changwon LG.

It was also their second straight win after three straight losses against KT this season.

Meanwhile, SK, which lost its fourth straight game, dropped to fourth place (23-14).

KT was led by Paris Bass, who poured in 17 points in the fourth quarter alone to finish with a game-high 35 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for a double-double.

Ha Yun-ki added 14 points and eight rebounds, 바카라사이트 Jung Sung-woo 13 points, and Han Hee-won 11 points, including three three-pointers.

SK was led by Oh Jae-hyun with 31 points and Jamil Warney with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Trailing 50-60 entering the final quarter, KT attacked SK from inside and out with Bass.

After a Bass three-pointer brought the score to within 10 points, KT pulled within two points, 68-70, with back-to-back baskets by Bass after Jung Sung-woo.

After a Bass free throw, Ha Yoon-ki scored two points to make it 74-73.

In the seesaw game that followed, Han Hee-won hit a three-pointer and Bass added a free throw to seal the win for KT.

At Daegu Gymnasium, home team Daegu KOGAS defeated Goyang Sono 83-66.

With the win, KOGAS snapped a two-game losing streak and moved into seventh place (15-23). Sono, which has lost three straight, is ninth (13-25).

KOG was led by Andrew Nicholson with 28 points, including four 3-pointers, and six rebounds and six assists.

Sono was led by Lee Jung-hyun with 25 points and Chinanu Onuaku with 12 points and seven rebounds.
