Bellingham's return to the pitch complete...Champions League 'green light' for Real body to appear
Real Madrid 'ace' Jude Bellingham (20) is ready to return to action. He will be back on the pitch soon. He could make his comeback against Valencia or in the Champions League against Leipzig.
Mario Cortegana of The Athletic in England said on Wednesday: "Bellingham is starting to play on his own and touch the ball. He is expected to make his return against Valencia or Leipzig."
Melchor Luis of Spain's Cadena Copa also reported, "Bellingham is doing individual training on the grass. He is aiming for the Valencia game or the Leipzig game."
Bellingham was injured in the 24th round of La Liga against Girona. "Following medical tests, Bellingham has been diagnosed with a left ankle sprain," the club announced on its website. Multiple outlets predicted he would be out until early March.
The Athletic, Cadena Copa, and others have reported that Bellingham could make his return to action as early as next month, either against Valencia on March 3 or Leipzig 사설토토 on March 7. With the Champions League round of 16 second leg against Leipzig especially crucial, the return of the key Bellingham is great news for Real.
Bellingham signed for Real ahead of this season for €130 million. He signed a five-year contract until the summer of 2029 and will wear the number 5, the number worn by Bellingham's idol Zinedine Zidane.
She's been on fire since she arrived. Playing as an attacking midfielder, Bellingham has scored 20 goals and provided eight assists in 29 official games. That's one of the best offensive point producers in all of Europe, let alone within Real. It's surprising that he's not a frontline striker.
Real are 'on a roll' thanks to Bellingham. After 25 rounds in La Liga, they have 19 wins, 5 draws, and 1 loss (62 points), six points ahead of second-place Girona (56 points). In the Champions League, they reached the round of 16 and won their first leg 1-0 against Leipzig. In the Supercopa de España, they beat their 'rivals' Barcelona to win the title.
Now, the return to Bellingham will give Real more momentum for the rest of the season.
