'29 Years After Winning, LG Opens 'Epic-ML-Level' Fanservice with Fans'

A championship after 29 years, and LG's sense that it's all about the fans.

Surprise Stadium, the spring training home of the Texas Rangers, in Surprise, Arizona, USA. Even though it was not a Texas Rangers exhibition game day, many fans visited the camp. They were eager to watch the players in action.

Texas has a loyal following in the Dallas area. But in terms of popularity, it's hardly a national league. But when fans come from as far away as Arizona, it's a sign of winning. Texas won its first World Series title in its 62-year history last season.

But there was a long line of fans by the main entrance. What were they waiting for? You'd think superstar and World Series MVP Corey Seager would be signing autographs, but he didn't even make it to camp due to hernia surgery.

But there was something bigger than Seager. A major league championship trophy. It was even authentic. It was a special fan service for the fans who traveled all the way to their spring training camp. Instead of just letting them look at it, they let them take pictures with the trophy. They even had a staff member on hand to take photos for solo fans and families. Fans were thrilled to see the World Series championship trophy.

The next day, I visited the LG Twins camp in Scottsdale, Arizona. I told manager Kyung-yeop Yoon about the story. He's a tremendous baseball mind, 바카라사이트 but he also cares a lot about fan service outside of the game. He's always eager to give interviews and wants to share his thoughts on the team's situation with fans.

"Wouldn't it be nice if LG could consider such a fan service?" he asked the front desk, and the representative laughed embarrassedly, saying, "Actually, we've been preparing for it."

It's not that they didn't have a plan, but LG was indeed preparing for the Korean Series championship trophy event. We are talking closely with the LG Group as well as the sports organizations. We're still working out the details, but what's certain is that fans will be able to see the KBO championship trophy at home in Jamsil Stadium for about two weeks from the start of the regular season. It's not just a display, he said, but a more active fan service like the Texas example.

LG has been recognized as a popular team since its inception, with a loyal following in the capital city of Seoul. However, the only and biggest disappointment is the lack of championships. Last year, they broke their 29-year drought by winning their first title since 1994. Throughout the Korean Series, Jamsil Stadium was filled with fans wearing glossy jumpers. At the moment of victory, fans shed tears. All the hidden LG fans jumped out and shouted 'I am an LG fan' proudly.

Knowing that a championship is meaningless without fans, LG is preparing for the biggest trophy fan service ever. The KBO has never seen anything like this before. You might say it's 'overdone' after winning the championship for so long, but LG's pioneering fan service is something that can raise the dignity of not only the club but also the group.
