Has anyone else dealt with Monarch Recovery Management? They started calling me a few weeks ago about a debt I'm not even sure is mine. At first, the person on the phone was polite, talking about "working with me" to get things sorted.

But it quickly turned into calls multiple times a day, sometimes to my cell phone and even to my workplace. I asked them to stop calling me at work, but they kept doing it. I also requested they send me written proof of the debt, which I never received. They just keep pushing me to log into their online portal and pay immediately.

It feels like harassment, and I found this article online that says they have a history of lawsuits for exactly these kinds of tactics:

I'm not sure what to do next. Should I send a formal letter demanding they stop contacting me? Has anyone successfully gotten them to back off or validate a debt properly?
